Marcia Gay Harden
Marcia Gay Harden, born on the 14th of August, 1959, in La Jolla (California), was the third child of five. Beverly Bushfield is her mother employed as a domestic worker during the time that Thad Harold Harden served in the army. Her family moved frequently. While they were in Greece the family became more interested in theater and attended Athens shows. Harden began college in Europe in American universities and later moved to the US to complete her studies at the University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA from NYU. The actress had acted in an upcoming film, The Imagemaker, but her first big role came in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers hilarious, offbeat reference to gangster film. Harden received good reviews for her performance in the movie, which was sexy and raunchy as Verna, a seductive, dangerous woman. Harden continued to work in support parts. She played Ava Gardner, a TV biopic about Frank Sinatra.
